LIC is creating an information system offering the latest facts about writers, their works, translators, publishers and distributors of Slovak literature, with particular attention being devoted to the presentation of Slovak literary works abroad. Its intended users are the literary public in general (including students) as well as those who might find the information contained useful for the purpose of introducing Slovak literature in their respective countries. The system relies on close co-operation with scholars in the field of Slovak literature, as well as persons with intimate knowledge of the literary and cultural environment in the target countries.
