The Leipzig Book Fair (March 12-15, 2020) is the second largest book fair in Germany. Its program Leipzig liest - Leipzig Reads is considered the largest reading festival in Europe. This year, it will feature a Slovak program as well.
This March, Leipzig will host over 2000 publishers (among these are 400 international publishers). The Book Fair offers more than 350 events for both the professional and lay public.
The Slovak National Stand is positioned in Hall 4 and has the number E400. On its 10 square meters, it will present over 200 titles of 20 Slovak publishers.
LIC / Literárne informačné centrum has prepared events that will present three Slovak authors, Peter Balko, Balla and Monika Kompaníková.

The strong voices of two young female authors from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Tereza Semotamova (CZ) and Monika Kompaníkova (SK). A discussion about their most recent books Ve skříni and Na sútoku.

Discussion with Monika Kompaníkova and translator Andrea Reynolds about the novel Na sútoku that came out in 2019 in the Austrian publishing house Wieser.
