Literature Night Budapest, Debrecen 2023

This year, Slovak literature is represented at Literature Night by Katarína Kucbelová‘s novel Čepiec (The Bonnet), translated into Hungarian by Tünde Mészáros and published by Phoenix Polgári Társulás in 2021.

Readings will be held at two locations on June 9. In Budapest, from 19:00—23:00 at the Budapest Zoo (Állatkerti krt. 6-12, 1146 Budapest), where an actress from the Vígszínház Theatre will read from the book: Luca Márkus, and in Debrecen, from 19:00—23:00 at the Debrecen Reformed College (Kálvin tér 16, 4026 Debrecen), where an excerpt will be read by Hella Tolnai from Csokonai's theatre.
