In the second half of August, Michal Habaj and Zuzana Husárová will present their poetry to German readers.
A selection of Zuzana Husárová's poetry has recently come out in a bilingual German-Slovak publication titled Hyper (published by hochroth, translated by Martina Lisa). Michal Habaj's poetry has been available to German readers since 2011, when his work was published in the anthology Den Spiegel bewegen. Slowakische Literatur der Gegenwart, in the German edition of selected poems of six Slovak poets titled Lob des Wildtiers im Winter. Gedichte aus der Slowakei, or in the magazine Ostragehege (2/2018). His bilingual poetry collection Erwachen (published by hochroth, translated by Stefanie Bose and Ulrike Feibig) comes out as part of the edition OstroVers 10.
LIC, The Slovak Literary Center together with its partners has organized a tour during which both authors will present their work, represent contemporary Slovak literature, and also celebrate the anniversary of the publishing house hochroth.
