Polish translation competition open for debutants features a text by Jana Beňová.
The 17th edition of The International Short Story Festival Opowiadania in Wroclaw, Poland is organizing a translation competition. This year, one of the texts to translate is a story by the Slovak author Jana Beňová. The competition targets debutants, specifically translators who so far have not published any work with an ISBN number. The texts in 2021 are in Slovak, German and Swedish and they are to be translated into Polish. You can find more information and guidelines on the website of the festival and Beňová's story here.
