We Already Know the Names of the Next Residents of the Visegrad Literary Residency Program 2022

International Visegrad Fund has announced the official results and assigned the residents of the Visegrad Literary Residency Program for upcoming terms in 2022.

The 2022 edition of the Visegrad Literary Residency Program will enable 32 literary residents to carry out their literary projects in four host institutions in one of the given periods: 1st May – 12th June 2022 (Compact Spring Edition) or 1st September – 30th November 2022 (Regular Autumn Edition).

 

Four applicants from Slovakia have been selected to take part in the Compact Spring Edition (1st May – 12th June 2022):

- Ria Gehrerová – Arts Institute in Prague (CZ)

- Ildikó Hizsnyaiová – Petőfi Literary Museum in Budapest (HU)

- Eva Maliti – Villa Decius Association in Krakow (PL)

- Oľga Gluštíková – Centre for Information on Literature in Bratislava (SK)

 

Another four Slovak applicants were chosen for the Regular Autumn Edition (1st September – 30th November 2022):

- Marcel Lacko – Arts Institute in Prague (CZ)

- Katarína Džunková – Petőfi Literary Museum in Budapest (HU)

- Tomáš Hučko – Villa Decius Association in Krakow (PL)

- Katarína Krištúfková – Centre for Information on Literature in Bratislava (SK)

 

As the approved substitutes for both editions were assigned:

- Samuel Velebný – Arts Institute in Prague (CZ)

- Flóra Peťovská – Petőfi Literary Museum in Budapest (HU)

- Jaroslav Varchola – Villa Decius Association in Krakow (PL)

- Michal Gladiš – Centre for Information on Literature in Bratislava (SK)

 

Centre for Information on Literature as one of the host institutions is looking forward to welcoming these eight residents in Bratislava in 2022:

Compact Spring Edition: Kateřina Bártková (CZ), Norbert Vass (HU), Maciej Jakubowiak (PL), Oľga Gluštíková (SK).

Regular Autumn Edition: Petr Tureček (CZ), Júlia Kustos (HU), Natalia Suszczyńska (PL), Katarína Krištúfková (SK).
