Anna Grusková (1962), a graduate of theatre and film studies at the Faculty of Arts ar Charles University in Prague, writes for cinema, theatre and radio; she is a curator, prose writer and director. She is mainly focused on practical theatre, collaborating with several professional venues. She translates from German.

For a long time, she has researched the lives of notable women and the status of ethnic minorities in Slovak history. The story of Alžbeta Göllnerová-Gwerková is portrayed in her book Tichý pobyt na ulici Gwerkovej-Göllnerovej (A Quiet Stay on Gwerková-Göllnerová Street, 2022), in the documentary film Žena novej doby (A New Age Woman, 2022), as well as in other projects.
