Nicol Hochholczerová has won a number of literary competitions, received an award in the Poviedka competition (2016 and 2019), and is also a book illustrator. Her debut novel Táto izba sa nedá zjesť (This Room Is Impossible to Eat, 2021) made it to the top five books in the 2022 Anasoft Litera Award.
