Nikolay Fenerski studied Slavic Philology and Slovak Language at the The St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo. He translates Slovak literature into Bulgarian, e.i. Pavol Rankov's S odstupom času / In Hindsight, Stalo sa prvého septembra (alebo inokedy) / It Happened on the First of September, and Marek Vadas' Liečiteľ / Healer and Zlá štvrť / A Bad Neighborhood. Many of his translations have been published in literary magazines.
