Nóra Ružičková (1977, Bratislava) is a writer and visual artist. Since 2009, she has worked as a researcher and since 2011 as an assistant professor at the Department of Intermedia and Multimedia at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava. She is currently the head of the Image/Sound/Text in Context Studio. Within her fine arts projects, her long-term focus has been the field of art as an institution. She is systematically interested in relations between image and text, visuality and textuality - not merely within the boundaries of art as an institution, but also in the broader field of culture. Many of her projects are based on cooperation, both with other artists and with people outside of the artistic world. Until today she published five collections of poems and one collection of experimental prose and poetry.
She also translates, particularly contemporary German poetry (Monika Rinck, Marion Poschmann, Gerhard Falkner).
