Ondrej Štefánik debuted with the short-stories collection Pštrosí muž (Ostrich Man, 2011). The detective novel Bezprsté mesto (Fingerless City) followed in 2012 and made the shortlist of the Anasoft Litera Prize. His most recent novel Som Paula (I’m Paula, 2016) won Anasoft Litera in 2017.
