A journalist for over twenty years, she has worked as a reporter, Moderator: and current affairs editor. Ten years ago she turned to recording memories of survivors of the Holocaust and of communist prisons and persecution, making over 70 award-winning television reports on the subject as well as a 15-part series of documentary films, Neumlčaní (Unsilenced). Mengeleho dievča (Mengele’s Girl, 2016), her book-length memoir of Viola Stern Fischerová, a Slovak Jew, became an instant bestseller. The documentary films she directed include Atentát na Heydricha – príbeh Jozefa Gabčíka a Jana Kubiša (The Assassination of Heydrich – the Story of Jozef Gabčík and Jan Kubiš, 2013), Nehodní žitia? (Not Worthy of Living?, 2016) and Heydrich a 74 žien (Heydrich and 74 women, 2017). In 2018 she published her second book, Mama milovala Gabčíka (My Mother Loved Gabčík).
