Básne pre mŕtve dievčatá / Poems for Dead Girls

Michal Habaj's fifth poetry collection. The author introduces himself as the first poet "to descend from a line of cyborgs." Among his fields of interests are modern parallels between the old and the new world, from the automatic decadence of a high school girl on a hot tin planet to the lab of apocalypse. Habaj's poems sharply analyze our society and our era in which we have stopped asking questions and in which "we only know reality from the media". "New record players, however, keep on spinning old songs deep underneath the stars" and "the faces of girls among cruel stars still hold mercy." It is a poetry of intersections, trying to contain the new architectures of today.
