Cabala uses Vincent, the character from his debut Satori in Trenčín, once again in his second book. This time, the story takes place at a Siberian research station. Vincent's task is to introduce ordinary people to science. In a room deep underground, he finds the time and tranquility to work on his new book. People around him gradually seep into his writing: local scientists and their permafrost discoveries, the guide Yelena, and a fellow country-woman, stuck on the road, unable to return home.
