A collection of texts by the renowned Slovak writer, in which he applies a new type of poetics. In his eighth prose book, Rakús offers stories in which, through the motifs of illness, threat, loneliness, death, but also through the confrontation of old age with youth and childhood, tense images from the lives of ordinary people emerge. The author describes experiencing difficult moments in life and ways of coping with them. Despite the sadness, the stories bring hope and faith.
