In Balla' s ninth short-stories collection, common people find themselves in absurd situations and the three stories tell the tale of "the cancer of human essence." His characters are ridden with anxiety and emotional problems and they remind us of Houellebecq's philosophizing, Bernhard's analysing and the kafkaesque state of being lost.
