Praláska / Proto-love

Proto-love is one of the best poetry books about love. The lyrical subject, Alfa, is a woman rooted in the proto-origin, the mother of mother, the daughter of daughter, the memory of memory which we know nothing of. Any real love happens in her auratic circle of no beggining and no end. It leaves messages on the walls of Altamira as well as in conceiving and birthing, in raising and taking care of everything that demands life and concludes in the masks of the dead. The book's motto consists of a few verses from Rilke's Ninth Elegy speaking about the fact that everyhing is just once – the recurring touch as well as the sentiment, set in the labyrinth of stars.
