The poetic story of a young woman opens up themes of healthy and toxic relationships, searching for and finding oneself. Over all this thunders the North Sea: inhospitable, unfriendly and tumultuous, but also magical and fascinating.
Overnight, Anna leaves for Great Britain, gets a job as a waitress and moves in with a taciturn fisherman named Sketch. Their slow, quiet days are turned upside-down by a new housemate, the eccentric photographer Sabrina. The newly created romantic triangle gives Anna a new perspective on her previous relationship and opens up the secrets of the past. Her unexpected return to Slovakia forces her to face the things she’d been running away from.
