A book of reflections by a writer who left civilization for a few months and moved to a secluded trailer under the Murano plain. He reduced his needs to an ascetic minimum and freed himself from the pressures of the outside world. Thus was written a book about a passionate journey to the limits of his own body's performance and about getting to know these limits. The quest was connected with the pleasure and torment of constantly proving the correct interpretation of the self. The author assumed that few writers have a body history as crazy as his, and that few lifelong athletes become writers.
