Discussion about Michal Hvorecký´s novel Tahiti Utópia - Tahiti: Utopia (Klett Cotta Verlag) in German translation (Mirko Kraetsch).
The author tells a what-if story. In it, there are already three generations of Slovaks who live on Tahiti. They have settled there at the command of M.R. Štefánik who - desperate because of the nation's suffering in Upper Hungary - had organized an exodus to Polynesia in 1910.
