About us
The Artforum publishing house was established in 2007, when we decided to start publishing great books and authors that we thought lacked in Slovak bookstores. We published Tracy's Tiger, The Man Who Planted Trees, books by Chaim Potok, Dominik Tatarka, Jón Kalman Stefánsson, Julian Barnes, David Grossman, Nicole Krauss, and others. We publish around 12 titles per year: Slovak writers that were forbidden during Communism and new authors bringing a refreshing voice to Slovak literature.
