BRaK is a Bratislava-based initiative, supporting original book projects and their authors. It consists of three parts: 1) BRaK – Bratislava Book Festival, an annual international event held at the end of May and focused on small and middle-sized publishers, 2) BRaK – Book Design & Illustrations, a platform promoting the works of Slovak book designers and illustrators, and 3) BRaK – Publishing House, focused on picture books, original domestic literature and translations and children's books.
