About us
SLNIEČKOVO, o.z. is an independent publishing house of literature for children and young adults. It focuses on quality translations, and on valuable works by native authors. Its first storybook, Píšťalkár (The Piper), written by Erik Jakub Groch and illustrated by Jana Kiselová-Siteková, was published in 2007 and won the Ministry of Culture Award for illustrations. It was also selected for the IBBY Honour List 2007.
