THEORY OF SILENCE

(main theses)

The goal of poetry is to discover the meaning of silence which is necessary for the life of a soul. The discrepancy between accuracy and the inaccuracy is the expression of a human freedom and that is also a secular discrepancy of poetry.

People do not see and hear each other because they only observe and hear themselves. They do not see and hear, because they do not observe and hear being fully submerged in a civilization noise. Advertisment, politics and other forms of deceit, manipulation or a power dependance are successfully benefiting from the soul split in the chaos of ideas. But people do not know and do not want to stop and to freely enjoy time which has its own echo and re-run, it´s silent resignation in the spirit of the principle „the less is more and nothing is everything“. Everything is nothing and all other words are needless.

Silence is concrete – it has a power to calm down the internal voice of the reader.

Silence is not meant, silence is very communicative. It can bring joy irrespective of language barriers.

Silence is not empty, it offers a state of a pure consiousness.

The idea written on a paper is only a part of a perfection. When less words and ideas are contained the text is richer. Thus no text is richest and the most comprehensive one.

No poem is thus the most beautiful and perfect.

QUIET MANIFESTO

unless you are not a love artist

and you don´t try to deny

the weight of body nor the Earth pull

better stop

from the power of searching for your own voice

you have to return to roots of proto-languages

so that all parts of God´s consciousness

be your unity in an archaic counterpoint that is silence

like your living art we have to get the literature rid of a message

after all, the task of artists is not to entertain the audience but to

                                                                                  be the way

as it casts doubt on a man the way he is inside

when the vocabulary of the past depicts the essence of the present

if wants and can adapt to its polymorph vocabulary

then the most modest rule is to have no rules

LOVE IS MUSIC

(for Grandmama on her ninetieth birthday)

rhythmical and melodic it´s only easier to listen

our music does not contain music

we are just the water on which it walks

it doesn´t say silence is silent

love in this world is everything in everything

we are the grass over which we walk

            in this milky cloudless day

even good music does not contain music

silently let us wait while the music is confirmed

if we live in an era which has compelled us

                                                            to play

silently let us take care of ourselves and

                                                                silently

it is strength courage love power not

                        to listen to this silence
