Book World Prague 2021

Due to the pandemics, this year's book fair has been postponed from May to the end of September.

The 27th installment of the book fair takes place between the 23rd and 26th Septemer 2021 in the Industrial Palace and in Křižík's pavilions at Výstaviště Holešovice. The guest of honor this year is France. The motto My Home Is in the Language is one of the main themes. Topics include questions of identity, language and diversity, as seen within the blueprint of not only the Czech language, but also French.

The specific guest-of-honor as well as the selected contemporary themes promise visitors exciting cultural events, programs and activities, and, of course, an opportunity to look at new book publications. There will be events for children and young adults, and interesting program for science fiction fans and literary professionals alike. A plentitude of both foreign guests and Czech authors is expected.

Literárne informačné centrum / The Slovak Literary Center is organizing a representative stand in the central hall, number S 115, covering 42 m2 and showcasing 400 titles published by 50 Slovak publishers. Our scheduled events include:
