Digital Frankfurt Book Fair 2020

Because of the Covid-19 pandemics, this year's international book fair in Frankfurt will not welcome its guests traditionally within its exhibition halls. Instead, it will be presented as a so-called Special Edition, through digital content available world-wide and also through platforms within Festhalle, directly at the book fair as well as at other locations in Frankfurt. Thanks to the expanded digital possibilites, digital exhibitors will have the chance to present the whole scale of their portfolios and activities. 


The live program of the Frankfurt book fair is happening between October 12th and 18th 2020 and it offers a wide range of events and conferences for those who are interested, both professionals and laymen. The Literary Information Center (LIC) will present four short films (made by Jana Bučka and Michal Fulier) in German language. The books, three of which came out in German translations, will be introduced by their respective authors:
