About us
The House of Hungarian Translators in Balatonfüred was opened in January 1998. The House is 125 kilometers away from Budapest on the Northern shore of the Lake Balaton. It is housed in a 19th century villa and is owned by the Foundation of the House of Hungarian Translators. It offers space for six translators at the same time. On site, residents can find a specialized library of Hungarian and foreign dictionaries as well as a selection of literary works and magazines.
