Karolína Krígovská was born in Bratislava in 1998. Her parents led her to music, dancing and singing at a young age. She started playing the violin at the age of four and is currently a student at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna under the guidance of Kristina Suklar and Dalibor Karvay, as well as at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava in the class of Jozef Horváth.
She graduated from the Bratislava Conservatory, where she was actively involved in orchestral and chamber music projects. In 2019, she won first place at the national competition of conservatories. She has participated in several masterclasses with renowned artists such as Alexandra Soumm, Midori, Dalibor Karvay, Rollo Kovac, Yuri Bashmet, Igor Karško, Gunar Letzbor, Jozef Špaček, and others.
As a soloist, she has performed with the Bruno Walter Orchestra, Beliczay Chamber Orchestra, Bratislava Conservatory Chamber Orchestra, Collegium Wartberg, among others. In 2018, she was the concertmaster of the Slovak Youth Orchestra and currently she is the concertmaster of the symphony orchestra of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava.
She is a co-founder and active player of several ensembles such as the Wartberg Young Collegium, Latriola, Nanovo ensemble, Stories Quartet, Contrast trio. She is a member of the European Youth Orchestra - EUYO and in 2023 she participated in a summer tour (Amsterdam- Concertgebouw, Berlin Kozerthaus, Hamburg- Elbphilharmonie and more) under the baton of Manfred Honeck and Antonio Pappano.
In addition to playing the modern violin, she also performs historically informed interpretations in the ensembles Solamente naturali, Czech Baroque ensemble, Musica figuralis and Collegium Wartberg.
Karolína Krígovská nació en Bratislava en 1998. Sus padres le enseñaron la música, el baile y el canto desde pequeña. Comenzó a tocar el violín a los cuatro años. Actualmente estudia en la Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien (Universidad Privada de Música y Arte de la Ciudad de Viena) bajo la dirección de Kristina Suklar y Dalibor Karvay, y al mismo tiempo en la Academia de Artes Escénicas de Bratislava en la clase de Jozef Horváth.
Se graduó en el conservatorio de Bratislava, donde participó activamente en proyectos orquestales y de música de cámara. En 2019 ganó el primer lugar en el concurso nacional de conservatorios de Eslovaquia. Participó en varias clases magistrales con artistas de renombre como Alexandra Soumm, Midori, Dalibor Karvay, Rollo Kovac, Yuri Bashmet, Igor Karško, Gunar Letzbor, Jozef Špaček y otros.
Como solista se desempeñó con la Orquesta Bruno Walter, la Orquesta de Cámara Beliczay, la Orquesta de Cámara del Conservatorio de Bratislava, el Collegium Wartberg y otras. En 2018 fue concertina de la Orquesta Juvenil Eslovaca y actualmente es concertina de la orquesta sinfónica de la Universidad de Artes Escénicas de Bratislava.
Es cofundadora e intérprete activa de varios ensembles, como Collegium Wartberg Young, Latriola, Nano ensemble, Stories Quartet y Contrast trio. Es miembro de La Orquesta Juvenil de la Unión Europea (EUYO, por sus siglas en inglés) y en 2023 participó en la gira de verano (Amsterdam-Concertgebouw, Berlin Kozerthaus, Hamburg-Elbphilharmonie y otras) bajo la batuta de Manfred Honeck y Antonio Pappano.
Además de tocar el violín moderno se dedica al movimiento musical de la versión históricamente informada en los ensambles Solamente naturali, Czech Baroque ensemble, Musica figuralis y el Collegium Wartberg.
