The first Opava NIGHT OF LITERATURE 2023 has successfully finished. We are happy to announce that we have read an excerpt from
Peter Balk's book
Østrov.The excerpt was read in the Medieval Tavern by Adam Krybus, a student at Silesian University, who portrays Karel Schinzel (in 1905, a previously unknown Opava accountant was the first to come up with a patent for catachromy, the ability to take and develop color photographs) in the film Karek Schinzel: The Man Who Colored the World.
