Mária Ferenčuhová will read her poems during World Poetry Day in Rome
On the first day of spring, 21 March, renowned Slovak poet Mária Ferenčuhová will read from her poetry collection Imunita (Immunity, Skalná ruža, 2016) at an event organized, by EUNIC (EU National Institute for Culture) in cooperation with the Slovak Ambassador in Rome, Slovak Institute in Rome and SLC.
This event enables European poets to meet and to present European poetry to the Italian public.
On 19 March Mária Ferenčuhová will meet with students and lector Zuzana Nemčíková from the Slovak language lectorate of the University of Rome (Sapienza Università di Roma), who took part in the translation of her poems.
