Curriculum vitae

He was  born in Kjustendile, and graduated from the University of Electrical Engineering (Telecommunication) in Sofia in 1970. He also finished the shool for higher management of journalism and publishing of the British know how fund (1992), as well as post-doc studies od the Slovak lanaguge at the University of Constantine the Philospher in Nitra (2012). 
His years-spanning professional career includes various positions, e.g. editor or editor in chief of the children's magazine Septemvrijče, director of the children's literature publishing house Otečestvo (Homeland) and of the magazine Kosmos. He also worked as a cultural officer in Bulgarian cultural institutes in Bratislava and Prague. He published 8 books: 2 for children, a sci-fi novel, 2 authorial encyclopedias (children's sports and telecommunications), and more. He wrote and published dozens of texts in newspapers, magazines, broadcasting and TV. He received numerous awards for his authorial, editorial, translation and publishing activities. For the past ten years, he has dedicated himself to literary translation from Slovak, and he also directs the family publishing house „Bezsmartny misly“ (Immortal Ideas).
