Curriculum vitae

A graduate of the University of Transport in Žilina, Peter Juščák made his literary debut in 1986 with the collection of psychological stories Komu ujde vlak (Who Will Miss the Train). He published the fictionalized travel reports Milovanie so sochou Miriam (Making Love with the Statue of Miriam, 1995) and the novel Som Ťukot (I'm Ťukot, 1999), about his own journalist experiences after 1989. With his book "...a nezabudni na labute!" (...and Don't Forget the Swans!, 2014), the life story of Irena Kawaschová, he was a finalist for the Anasoft Litera Award 2015.
