About institution

The brand was originally established in 1991 and was specialised in humanities and social sciences. Since 2018 Kalligram has been an imprint of Absynt. The imprint has launched new, short format edition The Sketch (originally Skica) focusing on important current challenges for humanity. It combines local authors with interesting translations and covers a wide scope of subjects of interest, especially media and communication, environmental studies, international relations, art and anthropology. The Sketch forms the most important element of Kalligram's production.
