NATION'S MEMORY INSTITUTE activities are based on three basic pillars, which are the archives of the former security forces, scientific research on the period of oppression, and living memory – Oral history. NATION'S MEMORY INSTITUTE, in terms of the Act itself or in cooperation with partner institutions, is involved in organizing of domestic and international scientific conferences, colloquiums, seminars and discussion evenings at home or abroad. Results of studies and research activities are published in scientific and professional journals, anthologies and other publications. NATION'S MEMORY INSTITUTE publishes scientific and scholarly historical journal “Memory of a nation” and professional publications which are released to the public in electronic form.
