ARS POETICA association is a publisher of European and world literature in translation, as well as in Slovak. The editorial catalogue, ranging from poetry to essays, includes a number of the most prominent and exciting authors of today and the past century, across Europe and beyond, including Peter Huchel and Sylvia Geist from Germany, Carolyn Forché from the US, Anni Sumari from Finland, and many more. Ars Poetica, constantly looking to promote distinct creativity, unconventional perspectives, and artistic quality, has so far published nearly one hundred titles that are widely praised for their design and innovative merits. The house, based in Bratislava from 2003, also organizes an annual Ars Poetica International Poetry Festival, one of the leading events of its kind in Europe.
