Buzássy debuted with the collection of poems Hra s nožmi (Game with Knives, 1965). He looks for various aspects of beauty in the poetic fragments Krása vedie kameň (Beauty Leads the Stone, 1972). Intellectual metaphors with sensuous perception, free verse and sonnets, wide-ranging cyclical compositions and delicate refined poetic miniatures – all these are the lasting features of Buzássy’s poetry.
