In the 13th edition of Lit_cast Slowakei Michal Hvorecký talks with Marianna Koliová, a Slovakist and Germanist who works at the Faculty of Arts of the Comenius University in Bratislava. Between 2016 and 2018, she worked as a Slovak language and culture lecturer at the Institute of Slavic Studies of the University of Cologne. She researches the image of Slovakia in German-language travel literature of the 19th century. She also explores the storytelling of various authors like Speer, Simonides, Bredetzky, Mednyansky or Hurban. She published the book Cestopisné obrazy v premenách čas (Reprezentácia Tatier a Váhu v cestopisoch prvej polovice 19. storočia).
