In the heart of Thessaloniki, at the Helexpo exhibition complex, numerous exhibitors from Greece and around the world will present their books at the 19th edition of the Thessaloniki Book Fair. The fair spreads over an area of 15,000 square meters and it takes place from 4 to 7 May this year.
The popular book fair, with a rich cultural program for both the professional and the general public, will welcome exhibitors from 30 countries. Over 60,000 visitors are expected.
This year, the fair will pay a special tribute to American literature with the United States of America as the guest of honor. The main goal of the guest of honor's participation is to showcase current literary trends in American literature and draw attention to the United States book market by inviting authors, publishers, and prominent cultural and literary figures.
In 2023, after an enforced covid hiatus, the Slovak Literary Centre is preparing a national exposition of the Slovak Republic, again thanks to the free offer of a booth and equipment by the Greek organizer.
The Slovak national stand will be in Hall 13, stand number 94.
On an area of 9 square meters, 26 Slovak publishers will be present with the production of more than 100 book titles.
