Autumn is the last novel that Rudolf Sloboda wrote and published before his death in 1995. It reflects on the events from the mid-nineties. Sloboda's narrator "the farmer" tackles the everyday life as well as philosophical problems and the line between autobiography and fiction is blurred again. Sloboda has achieved an unprecedented story-telling brilliancy in this book since he was not limited either by editors or by censorship.
