Curriculum vitae

Zdenka Valentová-Belićová actively translates Slovak literature into Serbian and Serbian literature into Slovak. She has translated over 30 works of fiction, e.i. novels by Rudo Sloboda, Dušan Dušek, Dušan Mitana, Monika Kompaníková, and many others.

She is a poet, an essayist and also a children's book author. She had published the bilingual poetry collection Éterizácia (Spolok slovenských spisovateľov, Grafomarketing, 2018) and the poetry collection in Serbian Apokrifi po Lilit (Brankovo kolo, 2020), the children's book Pamätník rodiny Perlenchlipovej (Slovenské vydavateľské centrum, 2019) and the collection of essays and reviews Zvuk Eurydikiných krokov (Slovenské vydavateľské centrum, 2019). She had put together the book of interviews Imigranti u Vavilonskoj kuli  (Zavod za kulturu Vojvodine, 2017) which came out in Slovak as Imigranti v Babylonskej veži (Slovenské vydavateľské centrum, 2018).  

She edited the book of Mihal Gombár Osnivanje biblioteke u Kisaču= Zakladanie knižnice v Kysáči (2014), Katalog izdanja Gradske biblioteke u Novom Sadu (2015). She co-authored the electronic Serbian-Slovak dictionary Administratívno-právny terminologický slovník (2018).
