A book for children age nine and older. The main character, nine-year-old Laura, makes friends, enemies, and experiences first love. She has the largest shoe-size of anyone in the class, a brilliant little brother, two smug enemies, and one awesome friend. On top of that, Laura is the only one who gets a blue heart from Luki. Any other boy would have given her a red heart, not a ketchup-stained blue one. Still, Laura is like any other girl – one day she worries and the next day she laughs. Hlušíková is an author who builds her narrative on a convincing story. The book is easy and entertaining reading for school-age children.
