The author uses poetic language to tell the tales of his childhood and of growing up in the spa town Piešťany. The careless playfulness of the stories is accompanied by nostalgia stemming from the death of the narrator's brother as well as from the passing nature of friendship and love. The reminscing intersects with the present care-taking of the narrator's mother and with visiting his old love Tamara in the USA. The author describes his book as a tiny novel.
